PRODUCER
EDITOR

I supported the entire production process from planning to wrap. I helped coordinate the team, managed logistics and ensured

the shoot ran smoothly and efficiently

I edited the film and shaped the narrative through pacing, shot selection, rhythm and sound. My goal was to make the emotional journey felt in every move.

OUR APPROACH

The script was written by another team.

Our group was responsible for bringing the story

to life as a short movie.

I took on the roles of Producer and Editor,

responsible for guiding the production process

and shaping the final story in post-production.

MY ROLE
THE STORY

On a gloomy afternoon, Thomas enters a chess tournament with an

intention beyond winning. He has come to confront Elizabeth,

his former lover, hoping to repair what was lost between them.

Across the board, Elizabeth remains composed. The game begins, and every move becomes a reflection of their past.

Each piece on the board represents a piece of their relationship,

the arguments, the imbalance, the desire to hold on, and the

desire to let go.

as the game unfolds, Thomas is forced to face the truth:

it wasn't just the circumstances that ended their relationship,

but the choices he kept making.

Checkmate.

THE CHESSBOARD AS A STORYTELLING DEVICE

The chess game isn't just the setting, it's the language of their relationship.

Each move reveals who is in control, who takes risks, who protects

themselves and who is still holding on.

As the pieces fall, the deeper truth is revealed:

the real battle was never on the board.
